How do sample boxes work?

Your first 5 samples are 100% free ($0). Additional samples are $3.00 each, and an order can hold up to 10 samples. They arrive via USPS/UPS parcel in 3 to 5 business days so you can evaluate colors under your home’s natural lighting.

Why is flooring sold by the carton instead of square feet?

Hardwood flooring is packaged at the mill in sealed, moisture-protected boxes to maintain wood equilibrium during transit. On every floor’s page, enter your room area in square feet; our calculator automatically adds recommended cut waste and rounds up to the exact whole carton count needed.

How much extra flooring should I order for waste?

We recommend adding 10% for straight plank installations. For diagonal layouts, herringbone patterns, or rooms with numerous angles and cutouts, we recommend 15%.

How does freight delivery work?

Flooring orders arrive via an LTL freight truck with a hydraulic liftgate to lower pallets to the curb or driveway. The dispatcher calls 24 hours in advance to schedule a 4-hour delivery window. Someone must be present to count and inspect cartons before signing.

Yes. Licensed general contractors, flooring installers, architects, and interior designers can apply through our Trade Portal for dedicated account support, job-site delivery coordination, and tax-exempt resale handling.
